Western Uganda's biggest artist Ray G held his maiden concert in Kampala over the weekend at Imperial Royale Hotel. The concert was successfully embraced.

Ray G who has already staged several concerts in Mbarara throughout his career is looking forward to a big one in the capital, Kampala.
The singer has broken several almost impossible barriers like topping charts countrywide while sticking to singing in Runyankore.

"I felt the urge to sing for my Kampala people after a lot of pestering. They have been asking me to at least give them one show in the central and this is the perfect time for me to do it," he said.
"I want this to open doors for every artist out there. I want them to know that it is possible to stage a concert in Kampala," he added.
