Singer Spice Diana has defended her decision to donate to vulnerable communities, saying that she does not care about those who accuse her of doing it for public approval.
"I don't see anything wrong with giving while being caught on camera," she said. "I just see it as a way of inspiring other people out there who want to give to the needy. Giving has always been my passion, even before I became a celebrity."
Diana made the remarks on Monday, July 31, during her donation of items like mattresses, soap, soft drinks, and diapers to the needy at St. Lillian Jubilee Home Orphanage in Gayaza, Wakiso.
She is frequently seen engaging in charity work and donating to vulnerable communities. In May, she visited widows in Bokasa zone in Bwaise 3, a city suburb, and provided them with relief items in terms of food.
Diana's critics have accused her of using her charity work to boost her public image. However, she has dismissed these claims, saying that she is simply doing what she can to help those in need.
"I don't care what people say," she said. "I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing because it makes me happy."
Diana's charity work has been praised by many, who have commended her for her generosity and compassion.
