Musician Lydia Jazmine has been in the music industry for over ten years, having made her breakthrough in 2014.

The singer has gone through different challenges and struggles to remain at the top of the industry.

Jazmine however says the most unfortunate issue at the moment is the presence of men who are targeting female upcoming singers for sexual gain.

She warned upcoming female artists to take caution as they look for relevance in the music industry. Jazmine says sex predators are out there, ready to manipulate them for sexual benefits.

"Young girls who are out there interested in music should know that men are out here ready to feast on them. They will manipulate you for their sexual benefit. You should be cautious while dealing with men in the industry," she explained.

Jazmine says she speaks out of experience and explained that she survived the sex predators because of her exposure.

She started doing music professionally at a time when she knew different people personally, including producers, artists, and managers, having worked with many of them as a backup artist.

"It's out of my experience, genuinely and truthfully. I was only saved by the exposure because I had already met different stakeholders in the industry," she added.
