Musician Cinderella Sanyu, also known as Cindy, and Omega 256 have arguably one of the biggest songs of the year, "See You Tonight." The collaboration, released last month, is already making over three million views on YouTube.
Cindy is happy with the song and says she knew about Omega's talent before meeting her. She liked her music and supported her even before working on this project.
The president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) rallied music fans to turn up for Omega's concert taking place this weekend.
Cindy explained that just like many other young musicians, Omega 256 needs support and will be empowered to do even bigger things if her concert is a success.
"I liked and supported Omega before meeting her. I like talented people, and I actually followed her before we even worked together. I want Ugandans to support her because she is very talented, and a successful concert will not only bring honor to her name but will also empower her," she explained in an interview with a local television station.
Omega 256's maiden concert in Kampala will take place on Friday of this week at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
