Media personality and gossip king Isaac Katende, popularly known as Kasuku, has threatened to drag Eddy Kenzo to court over alleged misuse of Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) funds.
Recent reports claimed that Kasuku pocketed over UGX 25 million from the Federation’s funds, but the outspoken presenter has come out to strongly deny the allegations, insisting he never received a single coin.
Kasuku accused Eddy Kenzo and his team of using his name to swindle government money, revealing that his lawyers are already preparing intention-to-sue papers.
“I have never received any money from the Federation as alleged. They are using my name to swindle funds, and I will not allow that. The moment I’m called anywhere to account for that money, I’ll sue Eddy Kenzo and his group because I’m not a beneficiary,” Kasuku warned.
The controversy comes at a time when Kenzo and other UNMF leaders are reportedly under investigation by various government agencies over the UGX 5 billion that was allocated to the Federation.
