Musician Eddy Kenzo has expressed confidence that his wife, Phiona Nyamutoro, will secure a landslide victory in the upcoming Nebbi District Woman MP race.
Nyamutoro, who also serves as the Minister of State for Energy and current National Female Youth MP, is contesting on the NRM ticket ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Kenzo, who has previously joined Eddy Kenzohis wife on the campaign trail in Nebbi, praised her impact and connection with the people of the district.
“It’s a comfortable win for us because Nebbi district is like a family. She has done a lot for the people and it’s visible to everyone there. I trust the people will vote for her overwhelmingly because she is loved and appreciated for her contribution to the development of the district,” Kenzo said in an interview with a local TV station.
He believes Nyamutoro’s development efforts and strong bond with locals will guarantee her an easy win come January 2026.
