Musician Kabaya, a former member of Bobi Wine’s Firebase Crew, has extended a generous hand to fellow artiste Buchaman, offering him both accommodation and land to help him stabilize his life.
Both Kabaya and Buchaman once worked closely with Bobi Wine at the peak of Firebase’s influence. However, after their departure from the group, life took different turns for the two.
While Kabaya managed to save and invest, becoming a landlord with a permanent home in Kampala, Buchaman continues to struggle with rent and financial challenges.
Kabaya revealed that he is grateful to Bobi Wine for giving him an opportunity years ago, and he believes supporting Buchaman is the right thing to do.
He confirmed that he has offered Buchaman two self-contained rooms at his residence, allowing him to stay without worrying about rent. Additionally, Kabaya says he intends to give Buchaman a piece of land measuring 30–40ft so he can build a permanent home for his family.
“I don’t need help from Buchaman. He actually needs me more because I have a house and land. He is struggling with rent. I have offered him two self-contained rooms at my house—he should come anytime. I will also give him 30 to 40ft of land to construct a house,” Kabaya said in an interview with Sanyuka Television.
The gesture has sparked discussion among fans and the music community, with many praising Kabaya for his compassion and loyalty.
