Uganda Police have finally broken silence on the tragic murder of popular TikToker Diana Skyz, real name Namulinde Diana, whose shocking death has left fans and the online community in deep sorrow.

According to an official statement released by Kira Road Police and shared on their social media platforms, the 24-year-old content creator was allegedly robbed and strangled in her apartment in Kyanja, a Kampala suburb.

“Police at Kira Road are investigating the murder of a 24-year-old woman who was allegedly robbed and strangled in her apartment in Kyanja. The victim has been identified as Namulinde Diana, also known as Diana Skyz, a businesswoman and TikTok content creator,” part of the statement read.

The Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire revealed that the incident occurred on the night of February 3rd, 2026, but her body was only discovered the following day after friends failed to reach her on phone.

Concerned friends reportedly went to her residence and found the apartment door open, only to make the painful discovery.

Police further disclosed that a security guard attached to the premises was arrested on February 4th after being found in possession of items suspected to have been stolen from the deceased. Some of the recovered items were later confirmed to belong to Diana Skyz.

Homicide detectives, together with Scene of Crime Officers, visited the apartment, documented the scene, and recovered several exhibits. Statements have also been recorded from key witnesses.

So far, police say three suspects have been identified in connection with the murder, with two currently in custody to aid investigations.

Diana Skyz’s body was taken to KCCA Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem examination as investigations continue.

The late TikToker will be laid to rest this Friday, with the ongoing vigil and mourning taking place at her parents’ home in Nansana, as friends, fans, and fellow creators continue to demand justice.
