Jamaican dancehall star Spice, born Grace Latoya Hamilton, is officially set to perform in Uganda in May 2026, according to event organizers.
The singer had initially been scheduled to headline a major show on 06 December 2025 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala. She was expected to share the stage with celebrated Ugandan artists including Sheebah Karungi, Winnie Nwagi, and Cindy Sanyu.
However, just days before the highly anticipated concert, Spice pulled out of the event. She later took to her social media platforms to confirm that she would not be part of the arrangement, leaving fans disappointed and raising uncertainty about the fate of the show.
At the time, organizers urged partygoers not to panic, assuring them that the dancehall queen would eventually perform in Uganda after the recently concluded general elections.
In the latest update, organizers have now confirmed that Spice will perform in Uganda on 09 May 2026.
As of press time, details regarding the venue and ticket prices have not yet been disclosed, but fans are already counting down to what promises to be one of the biggest dancehall events of the year.
