Gossip commentator Kasuku, real name Isaac Katende, was the lead moderator of the Jazz with Jajja conversation held over the weekend at Kisozi Farm.
Kasuku, alongside several YouTubers and TikTokers, engaged President Yoweri Museveni in a discussion on various national issues following his election in January this year.
Fresh reports now allege that Kasuku walked away with over UGX 50 million from the President. According to the claims, the money was given as a token of appreciation for moderating the session and as payment for his role as lead panelist.
In January, Kasuku had publicly appealed to President Museveni for financial support. At the time, the President, who was still on the campaign trail, promised to look into his concerns and those of other content creators after the elections.
Neither Kasuku nor State House has officially confirmed the alleged payment.
