Popular Ugandan singer Spice Diana has revealed that her impressive fashion sense is deeply influenced by the education she received at Makerere University.
Before fully diving into her music career, the singer pursued a Diploma in Arts and Design, a course she says greatly shaped how she approaches style and fashion today.
Speaking during an interview with a local television station, Spice Diana explained that the knowledge she acquired at Makerere continues to guide her fashion choices.
“My fashion style is inspired by the knowledge gained from the Art and Design education I received at Makerere University. I always dress well because I gained a lot of knowledge on fashion and design,” she said.
The “Siri Regular” hitmaker noted that her academic background has helped her make better decisions when it comes to branding and personal presentation in the entertainment industry.
Spice Diana also encouraged fellow artists and young people to pursue formal education, emphasizing that learning can happen at any stage in life.
“With education, it can never be late. You can pursue it anytime because there is mature learning as well. With it, you make informed decisions, get exposure, and make professional decisions,” she added.
According to the singer, combining education with talent can help artists build stronger and more sustainable careers in the competitive entertainment industry.
