Rising singer Dax Vibez has taken aim at Eddy Kenzo and Joshua Baraka, accusing them of failing to uplift other Ugandan artists on the international stage.

Speaking in an interview, Dax Vibez said Uganda lacks artists who open doors for others globally, unlike Nigeria where stars have built a pathway for upcoming talent.

“There are Nigerians who went out and left the door open for those behind them… we want someone who will make our industry like the Nigerian industry,” he said.

The singer further alleged that top Ugandan artists secure international connections but keep them to themselves instead of sharing opportunities.

“They get their breakthrough, but then hide the links and connections from others,” he added.
