Businessman and socialite Shakib Cham has expressed confidence ahead of his upcoming corporate boxing match against Kenyan singer Arrow Bwoy scheduled for June 20.

Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Shakib said the fight will be a true test of his boxing abilities compared to his previous bout against blogger Barista Timo.

According to Shakib, his earlier first-round knockout victory did not fully challenge him because his opponent lacked enough boxing experience.

“I am not someone who lies. In my last fight, my opponent was not fit enough. He did not know boxing that much, but he was the one available at that time,” he explained.

Shakib added that Arrow Bwoy understands the seriousness of the upcoming fight, something that has pushed him to train harder and improve his physical fitness.

“The one in Nairobi is a strong man with muscle, and he knows what we are getting into. I am going to show Ugandans that I have been training, and I am not going to disappoint them,” he added.

The businessman also revealed that months of intense training have transformed his physique as he targets bigger achievements in corporate boxing beyond East Africa.

“I am going to Nairobi to win the East African belt. After East Africa, I will go for the UK title. After the UK, I will go for the whole world,” he said.

The highly anticipated showdown is expected to attract attention from fans across Uganda and Kenya as the two public figures prepare to face off in the ring.
