City businessman and Swangz Avenue co-founder Julius Kyazze has revealed that one of the greatest investments he has ever made is singer Vinka.

Speaking in a recent interview, Kyazze said investing in and nurturing musical talent has been one of the most rewarding experiences of his career, with Vinka’s journey standing out as a major success story.

“Best investment? Vinka. I am very proud. I don’t like to watch my artists like her and Azawi perform because I get emotional. Sometimes it overwhelms you. I looked at Vinka at ObaFest, and I saw a star; people were screaming, and I was like, you’ve done well,” Kyazze said.

He added that watching Vinka and Azawi command huge crowds often reminds him of the work, dedication, and teamwork that went into building their careers.

“Lately I don’t even want to watch Vinka or Azawi because I get emotional. I look at them and then I look at the audience and see what we have done together as a team. Sometimes it overwhelms you,” he added.

Swangz Avenue has over the years built a reputation for identifying and developing talented artists through strategic management, patience, and a strong support system. Vinka remains one of the label’s biggest success stories, having grown from behind-the-scenes roles into one of Uganda’s most celebrated female musicians.

The singer is now preparing for another major milestone in her career as she gets ready to stage her first-ever concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval on August 21, 2026, an event highly anticipated by music fans across the country.
