Social commentator Frank Gashumba has launched a scathing attack on former Parliament Director of Communications Chris Obore, saying he should never be released from Luzira Prison.
Speaking on the matter, Gashumba expressed bitterness toward Obore and argued that he should not be granted bail.
Gashumba alleged that Obore stole billions of shillings while serving as the head of communications at Parliament, claiming he does not deserve to enjoy his freedom.
He further accused Obore of misappropriating public funds and appealed to General Muhoozi Kainerugaba to ensure Obore remains in custody if he is ever granted bail.
"Chris Obore should never get out of Luzira Prison. He doesn't deserve mercy. He should never be released on bail. He should be locked up in Luzira for the crimes he committed against the people of Uganda. General Muhoozi, keep Obore in the basement if he ever gets bail," Gashumba said.
The remarks reflect Gashumba's personal views and allegations. Any criminal allegations against Chris Obore remain matters for the courts and relevant authorities to determine.
