Events promoter Abitex has intervened in the ongoing dispute involving bloggers who claim they were not paid for work they did with musician Bebe Cool during the recent presidential campaigns.
Speaking in a discussion with local media, Abitex said he is prepared to take responsibility for pursuing the matter and ensuring the affected bloggers receive the money they claim they are owed.
“I am taking responsibility going forward, and am taking over to ensure bloggers who worked with Bebe Cool during campaigns are paid. I will move to every office to ensure they are paid. I will go up to anyone and ensure the Government pays them if Bebe Cool failed,” he said.
Abitex said he is willing to approach government offices and other relevant authorities to find a solution to the dispute.
His intervention adds another voice to the ongoing controversy, with the affected bloggers now looking to him to help them pursue payment.
The claims over unpaid campaign work remain disputed, and the account does not include a response from Bebe Cool regarding Abitex’s latest intervention.
