Musician King Saha has pledged to complete the unfinished house belonging to the late comedian Kapere Lufotose, assuring his widow that the project will be completed whether or not he receives contributions from other people.
King Saha made the commitment during a vigil held at the National Unity Platform (NUP) headquarters, where friends, colleagues and supporters gathered to mourn Kapere.
While addressing Kapere’s wife, popularly known as Mama Trump, the singer said he was determined to ensure the house was completed and promised to take personal responsibility if necessary.
“Mama Trump, I promise you that Kapere’s house is going to be completed, whether through contributions from others or not. You should not be worried about that,” he said.
King Saha also pledged to support Kapere’s widow by paying three months’ rent as she navigates life following the comedian’s death.
