The Facebook verification craze has taken over Ugandans especially the celebrities. From the time specific celebrity pages were verified, every artiste has been doing whatever possible to have their page verified by Facebook as the official page.
Pages for several celebs like Bebe Cool, Desire Luzinda, Flavia Tumusiime, Viboyo, Eddy Kenzo, Juliana Kanyomozi and Radio & Weasel were verified recently. This left out some big industry powers like Bobi Wine and Chameleone.
Yesterday, Irene Ntale’s Facebook page was verified and the excited Ntale had this to say.

Facebook is currently only accepting verification requests from Pages that represent celebrities, public figures, sports teams, media and entertainment. Requests can be submitted on their website.
