It was celebration for filmmakers as the Uganda Film Festival (UFF) wrapped up with an award gala at the Kampala Serena hotel over the weekend.
The third edition of the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) sponsored festival proved that it is quite a fame machine among the film-makers, though, still terribly unpopular among the general public. Yet they are the most important clientele of the entire film-making business.
However, after a rigorous review and professional consideration of the cinematic merits of the films nominated for the Uganda Film Festival Awards, the Uganda Communications Commission announced the winners of this year’s awards in each category as shown below.
