Dr. Jose Chameleone was swagging up in the US upon reaching the LaGuardia Airport in New York City where he was skating on "The IO Hawk — one device designed to effortlessly glide with the unparalleled whimsy of a Segway", a cross between a Segway, without the handle, and a skateboard.

The IO Hawk costs $1,799 (£1,185) and has a maximum speed limit of 6.2mph (10km/h). It was released a few months ago but was available to pre-order even before the official release date had been announced.

The battery-powered Hawk responds accordingly as you shift you balance about the board, rolling forward and backward as you lean in your desired direction. Moving is remarkably easy, with most spectators on the show floor taking to the device with the ease of riding a bike after wobbling for a second or two.

The "Bwerere" singer will be performing at the Ultimate Summer Festival 2015 Sep. 4 - 6 live at the UNAA Causes Manhattan, NYC.

Chameleone can be seen eating – what looks like – salads ... while feeling comfortable on his new pricey skates.
