In his own view, it's a very unapologetic, no nonsense album.
"In other albums, I tried to balance out what I give the people. On this one, I just go H.A.M., crazy, just rapping," Navio said as he prepared to release his fourth solo album ‘The Chosen’ at Panamera in Kampala at 7pm on Saturday.
The Chosen will be released as a more personal experience, allowing Navio to interact more with fans in Panamera’s club setting where entry will be sh10,000 and doors open 7pm. The album will be available for sale at the official release concert, as well as in stores, on iTunes, Soundcloud, Deezer, Spotify, Myziki and for delivery on Jumia.
With this album, Uganda’s reigning star of Hip Hop is bringing back the Navio that people saw when he first broke into the industry. “I’m really rapping as the battle MC,” Navio explained.
“It’s a very unapologetic, no nonsense album. In other albums, I tried to balance out what I give the people. On this one, I just go H.A.M., crazy, just rapping. From everyone I’ve played it for, from Wiz Kid to Burna Boy to media personalities in Uganda and across Africa, they regarded this as my best work.”
