As NBS struggles for the top spot in the local television market, Once TV giants, NTV and WBST TV are losing staff at an alarming rate.
It’s no longer a rumour that WBS TV has lost its most celebrated sports analysts Mark Ssali, Joseph Kabuleta and Allan Ssekamatte have joined Kamwokya based NBS TV.
It should be noted the three sports pundits have been featuring on SPOT ON, the old sports programme on TV that was engineered by Mark Ssali. The three started last weekend with their popular Sport On show at NBS TV.
The programme that has been on NBS TV 4-4-2 which was earlier hosted by Joe Kigozi and Aldrine Nsubuga has been replaced with Home and Away that will feature this trio.
Meanwhile, NBS TV continues to make a mark on the television industry and this latest development is proof that the station is on the brink of cementing its place as number one.
With the acquisition of the three, this without a doubt means NBS TV now commands the best sports team in the land that also boasts of the likes of Allan Sewanyana, Kigozi among others.
