Comedian turned MP, Kato Lubwama claims that fast rising artiste  Fik Fameica is fake.

He thinks the singer lacks creativity and his songs have been made popular by Radios and televisions even when they are substandard.

He was quoted saying, " There are many masqueraders in the industry that have been made popular by the Radios and TVs. Songs like "Byenyenya" and "Kutama", are not close to good music. They cannot stay for long.  They have obscene words and that's the only reason they sell."

He said this while appearing on Spark TV. The legislator also stressed that Ugandan music industry lacks creative artistes and most of them are greedy.

He was quoted saying, "There is a lot of greed in the music industry. The music we have now can't last. Musicians want to do everything. They want to be writers and producers. And when they get writers, they don't want to credit them. They do the same for the producer and promoters."

This war between old and new generation artistes might have just taken a new twist.
