She has been in the music business for fours years, but she is still struggling to get a breakthrough. Her name is Sheeba Sumayya.
Often times, when she mentions her name, Sheebah Karungi, who is very popular and successful in the music business comes to mind.
Sumayya says friends who care about her music have advised her to change her name, saying it will be hard for her because she shares a name with a bigger star.
"Irene Ntale is one of the people who have advised me to change my name," says Sumayya
The young singer, who is based in Netherland says she is going to stick with her name.
"I am doing my thing. She is doing her thing; we have different music styles. I am best in live performances which is a challenge for most artists in Uganda," says Sumayya.
Summaya currently has a new song entitled, "Tanalabwa". She will be returning home soon to promote her music.
