Rising star singer Alien Skin has been warned by veteran musician Ragga Dee to be careful in the music industry, where rivalries and conflicts are commonplace.
Ragga Dee, who has been in the industry for over 20 years, emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive image and reputation. He also warned Alien Skin about the dangers of the digital age, where a single misstep online can lead to a swift downfall.
"I want to caution Alien Skin to tread carefully," Ragga Dee said. "He possesses remarkable talent and is fortunate, yet he must remain aware of the lurking negativity within the industry. In this age of pervasive internet influence, a single misstep can trigger a downfall."
Ragga Dee also touched upon the disunity within the Uganda National Musicians Federation. He cited a recent incident involving Alien Skin and Spice Diana, who engaged in a heated debate on Galaxy FM about the federation. Ragga Dee noted that despite their common interests, the musicians appeared divided, reflecting a broader lack of cohesion within the industry.
"I've witnessed beloved musicians losing their prominence, fading from public consciousness," Ragga Dee said. "I hope Alien Skin will heed my warning and avoid making the same mistakes."
