Musician Sama Sojah is one of the most talented musicians we have in the industry, but he has struggled to maintain his position at the top.

The singer has now put the blame on the business people in the industry who prioritize profits. He says it has lost its meaning and is now solely focused on making money.

He believes business people have stifled the industry by paying media personnel to stop playing other music which they believe would do well, effectively killing it before it gets out.

"Music Is No Longer Art; It's a Business, and this way the industry is stifled. People pay Radio and Television not to play good songs. At times they purchase good songs and don't release them; they do so cheaply... keep it because they fear it would put you on top. Others have gone ahead to destroy the artist they feel is talented. You can be beaten and threatened just because you are talented." He partly said in an interview with Galaxy TV.

Sama Sojah, however, says he will not give up on his career despite the many challenges that come his way.
