Musician Pius Mayanja, also known as Pallaso, ranks among the top male artistes in the Ugandan music industry.
However, the singer also has his favorites among the female artistes. He explained that these are his top picks and he highly ranks them.
Without giving reasons, Pallaso mentioned Spice Diana in the first position, followed by Nina Roz in the second. Pallaso then placed Pretty Witty in the third position, Lydia Jazmine in the fourth, and Grace Khan came in last in the fifth position.
"First position is Spice Diana, second is Nina Roz, third is Pretty Witty, then fourth is Lydia Jazmine, and Grace Khan is in the fifth position," he explained.
Female artistes are currently a force to be reckoned with in the industry, and for the last few years, they have dominated an industry often perceived as full of male artists.
Vinka was ranked Artist of the Year in 2023, and subsequently, Ava Peace topped the year 2024.
This year alone, Ava Peace has maintained the pace alongside Jazmine, Vinka, Azawi, Gloria Bougie, Karole Kasita, among others.
