Around 2014, musician Mun G organized his maiden concert at Kati Kati grounds in Lugogo, Kampala, but it flopped. He will live to remember the "Sejjusa" concert, as reports at the time indicated the show only attracted over 150 revelers, a number that included the event crew, journalists, and security.

However, in 2017, Mun G redeemed himself when he held a successful concert at Freedom City, Namasuba. Party-goers filled the venue for the "Odisa Bubi Sente Zange" concert, and the rapper was elated by the proceeds from the event.

Despite being away from the public eye and media, and not having a hit song in over five years, Mun G has announced a concert for this year. The rapper confirmed the concert dates and venue, revealing it will take place on August 30th of this year at Serena Hotel in Kampala.

"And this is the day that the Lord has chosen. 30.08.2025," he wrote on his X account.

His fans flooded his post with congratulatory messages upon his decision to organize the event, and many of them promised support ahead of the show.
