Musician Bebe Cool will be releasing his much-anticipated "Break the Chains" album this Friday, May 30th.

The singer has, however, called upon Ugandans to stream local music and uplift home-grown talent, stating that this is how they can thrive and build wealth.

Bebe Cool explained that streaming companies will pay artists a much-valued sum if Ugandans actively stream their music on different platforms.

"I encourage Ugandans to go out of their comfort zones and stream music because that's the way they can support local artists. It's cheap and brings in money to the artist, making him thrive and also building wealth," he explained.

Bebe Cool adds that he is not only targeting bar hits on his album; he is focused on streams, revealing that's where the real money is.

"It's no longer about a hit in the club nowadays because music never sleeps, and music never goes wrong. Today is all about streaming. Albums are being streamed, streams speak volumes, and music has grown through streaming. It's actually where the money is, away from the stage," he added.

He believes the body of work will do wonders if accepted across the globe, as he plans to do a music tour across East Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, the United Kingdom, and the USA.
