Different Ugandan artists are finding significant interest in the international market and audience. Lydia Jazmine has joined that list following the recent release of her album, and she is hoping for the best in that regard.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Jazmine explained that she hopes to extend her market beyond national borders. The singer expressed happiness with the album, revealing that it's performing well and being streamed extensively. Jazmine added that she incorporated different genres to broaden its appeal to a diverse audience.
"I have been working on my album for almost three years. I am happy that it's moving well and it has been received very well by all music lovers. I want to extend my market across borders and have included different genres on the album," she partly explained.
Jazmine officially released the album over the weekend, disclosing that she spent two to three years working on it. The singer noted that most of the songs were re-recorded multiple times because they wanted the final outcome to be superior and worth the long wait.
The "One and Only" album features over fifteen songs, including singles and various collaborations.
