Celebrated rapper Navio over the weekend held a highly successful concert at the Serena Hotel in Kampala.
During the show, Navio thrilled fans with a performance of his collaboration Kamwokya — originally done with Bobi Wine — sending the audience into wild excitement.
Following the concert, Navio expressed admiration for Bobi Wine and revealed his desire to see the National Unity Platform (NUP) president return to the music stage.
He urged the government to find a way to allow Bobi Wine to perform again, saying it would be a big win for music lovers across the country.
“I would love to see a way they can get along and allow him to get back on stage. Performing Kamwokya alone doesn’t really make me happy. Imagine if I performed it with him — you saw how the crowd reacted without him, it was already crazy. But think about it if he were there,” Navio said.
The rapper added that Bobi Wine’s first love has always been Uganda, followed by music, and that he finds peace when performing his songs.
