Rapper Recho Rey has dismissed allegations made by upcoming artist Kin Bella, who recently claimed that the hit song “Ekibombo” was originally hers.

During an appearance on Galaxy TV over the weekend, Kin Bella alleged that Recho Rey connived with producer Trump to steal the song and was shocked to later hear it playing on the airwaves.

“I was there, then I saw the song ‘Ekibombo’ played and I went to the studio to ask my producer what had happened. He told me they had sold it,” Kin Bella claimed.

However, Recho Rey has come out strongly to deny the accusations, describing them as baseless and fabricated.

“It’s not true. I don’t know why she fabricated the story. But it’s not true. I also just saw the story online,” Recho Rey said.

Ekibombo is Recho Rey’s latest project, which she has been heavily promoting over the past few weeks. The song has gone viral on social media, with fans participating in various dance challenges.

Despite the controversy, Recho Rey remains focused on pushing her music, while Kin Bella’s allegations continue to stir debate among fans about originality and fairness in Uganda’s music industry.
