Celebrated Ugandan singer Rema Namakula has addressed concerns from fans over her recent silence on new music releases.
Despite remaining one of the most sought-after performers in the country, Rema has gone months without dropping a new song—something that has left many fans eager for fresh material.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, the singer made it clear she is not feeling any pressure to rush back into the studio.
“I will release music at my own pace. I am not in a rush as some people may choose. I am taking my time and will do so at the right time,” she said.
Rema emphasized that her approach is intentional, focusing on quality and timing rather than competing with the fast-paced nature of the music industry.
Despite the break from releasing new songs, she continues to dominate the events scene, especially at introduction ceremonies and weddings where she remains one of the most booked artists in Uganda.
Her calm and confident stance reassures fans that when she does return with new music, it will be worth the wait.
