For the past few years, fans of Ugandan music have been eagerly demanding a concert from musician Vinka.
Many have taken to social media, calling upon Swangz Avenue to organize the event — and their wish is finally set to come true this year, according to the label.
Speaking to the media on Friday morning, Swangz Avenue boss Benon Mugumbya confirmed that the label is planning to stage Vinka’s maiden concert this year.
He explained that preparations are already underway, with the dates and venue to be announced in the near future to allow proper planning for both fans and the artist.
Vinka has been active in the music industry for nearly a decade but has never held a concert. Interestingly, her label mate Azawi, who joined Swangz Avenue more recently, has already held her maiden concert.
Vinka’s upcoming concert is exciting news not only for her but also for fans of Ugandan music.
