Western Uganda's celebrated musician Ray G has set his sights on one of the country's biggest concert venues after announcing a major show at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

The singer made the announcement through his social media platforms, revealing that the highly anticipated concert is scheduled to take place on August 7, 2026.

The event marks another significant milestone in Ray G's music career, coming after the success of his previous concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, which attracted thousands of fans and cemented his status as one of Uganda's leading performers.

By choosing Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, Ray G joins a growing list of top Ugandan artists, including Eddy Kenzo and Bebe Cool, who have staged landmark concerts at the iconic venue.

The concert is set to be organized and promoted by renowned events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, popularly known as Abitex, who has built a reputation for successfully managing some of the country's biggest entertainment events.

Fans across the country have already expressed excitement about the announcement, with many taking to social media to pledge their support and anticipation for the show.

Ray G has enjoyed remarkable growth over the past few years, expanding his fan base beyond Western Uganda and establishing himself as a national music sensation through a string of successful songs and energetic performances.

With several months remaining before the event, expectations are already building for what could become one of the biggest concerts on Uganda's entertainment calendar this year.
