Musician Kalifah Aganaga is currently trending on TikTok, not because of a new release, but due to an older song he released years ago.
His song Nasanga has gone viral on the platform and is currently attracting a large number of challenges and user-generated content.
Aganaga has taken credit for the song’s renewed popularity, saying it is a result of making timeless music that continues to resonate with audiences even years after its release.
"I created good music, and that is the only reason it has stood the test of time. I released it before TikTok came here, but it has found its way back on the platform many years after its release," he explained.
Aganaga also revealed plans to organize the Nasanga Festival on October 9, which coincides with Independence Day, to celebrate the song’s success alongside his fans.
"I have chosen to organise the Nasanga Festival on October 9 this year, which happens to be Independence Day. I want to celebrate with fans," he added.
