Singer Ava Peace has finally addressed the breakup of the 6ix Killaz girl group, dismissing long-standing claims that internal conflicts and favoritism were responsible for its disbandment.
The group, formed in 2024 by renowned artist manager Jeff Kiwa, brought together Ava Peace, Jowy Landa, Recho Rey, Zafaran, Pinky, and Nina Roz. They quickly gained attention with their hit song Kukyakala Na Kubwa, but later went their separate ways, fueling speculation of a fallout.
Speaking during an interview with Sanyuka TV, Ava Peace explained that the group's split was simply a result of personal and professional growth.
"It's growth; we all grew up. It's not separation because when a project arises and needs us as 6ix Killaz, we shall do it together. But right now, everyone is pursuing solo engagements outside the group," she explained.
The singer emphasized that there is no bad blood among the members and said they remain open to reuniting whenever the right opportunity presents itself.
Ava Peace also addressed the recent public fallout between Jowy Landa and Nandor Love, clarifying that their disagreement had nothing to do with the group's breakup.
She encouraged the two singers to put aside their differences and reconcile.
"The chaos between Jowy Landa and Nandor Love has only happened recently; it cannot be why the group split up. I would prefer that they sit down, talk, and resolve their differences because they were once very close friends and shared so many secrets. I don't talk to them as much anymore because we're all busy, and I wouldn't want to distract them," she added.
Her remarks have put to rest speculation that 6ix Killaz collapsed due to infighting, instead portraying the split as a natural transition as each member focused on building an individual music career.
