Good music has been made, but some songs have managed to stand out.

Since the start of 2014, Howwe.biz has been tracking activities on how music obsessed fans play Ugandan music, on the web ... these statistics are already in the books, so we thought it would be a good time to take a look at those songs that have been ruling the charts since then.

With the need to make this list exceptional, we only put together those songs that have crossed the 100,000 plays mark! So without further ado…

1 : Love You Everyday -- Bebe Cool

There’s no question what the biggest song in UG has been since 2014: Bebe Cool’s hit song “Love You Everyday” has been on top of this list for months. This reggae song almost became a global hit ... obviously it's too late for that, something we should probably blame on Channel O and MTV Base Africa.

Well, Tv stations do not control the web, music lovers got obsessed with "Love you Everyday"—and the song has been streamed over 256,484 times at the time of this post, more than twice the mark we set.

2 : Wale Wale -- Dr. Jose Chameleone

Dr. Jose Chameleone has a ton of hit songs, you would need a cargo plane to ship them into one place ... but Wale Wale is undoubtedly the biggest hit the doctor has released. The Leone Island boss has staged a lot of concerts named after this hit song including his forthcoming show dubbed "Wale Wale Double" slated for 1st MAY 2015 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

This is one bouncy song music fans couldn't get enough of, making it the second most streamed song online.

Wale Wale has been streamed over 236,425 ... also more twice the mark we set.

3 : Sitya Loss -- Eddy Kenzo

Eddy Kenzo's Sitya Loss is a true definition of a global hit. Need proof? A simple example of Akon, Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Diddy can suffice.

It all started with a funny video of some random ghetto kids dancing to the song days after it's debut. By then, Sitya Loss was just like any other of Kenzo's songs but everything suddenly changed. Kenzo's life changed and his music went from this local afro-beat genre to the internal afro-pop style we all are so much in love with.

There's too much to say about this song, but hey, we need the statistics more. 182,621 times ... that's how much people loved the song.

4 : Tubonge -- Dr. Jose Chameleone

Another hit Jose Chameleone's fans were so obsessed with. The music doctor appears twice in the top 4 most streamed songs since the start of 2014. This makes his fans the happiest.

"Tubonge" was streamed over 127,458 times.

5 : Go Down Low -- Sheebah Karungi & Pallaso

Sheebah Karungi is Uganda's 2014 best female artist award winner. Her song Go Down Low f/t Pallaso, won her a HMA for the best Afro-pop song of the year.

The song became a major hit in East Africa getting over 1500 daily plays and a total of 125,239 plays at the time of this post.

Sheebah is second after Jose Chameleone to make it twice on this list of the music geniuses. Her music speaks for itself. Her hit song Twesana doesn't need a lot of introduction.

The song has been streamed over 110,991 times since it's official debut.

7 : Breathe Away -- Radio & Weasel

Do we really need to introduce the biggest Dynamic Duo in East Africa?

Any way, they're BET nominees -- and just that should suffice for the epitome of everything, right?!

They've earned their music reputation and have worked for hard to keep it. Radio & Weasel's song Breathe Away has been streamed more than any other of their hit songs ... getting over 109,280 plays since it's official premiere.
