Forum for democratic change, FDC senior member Paul Mwiru is smiling ear to ear after his rival Nathan Igeme Nabeta was this morning disgracefully thrown out of the 10th parliament.

The decision was made by the three justices of the Court of Appeal; Justice Steven Kavuma, Richard Buteera and Paul Mugamba after Mwiru proved that indeed Nabeta was not elected MP.

According to a judgment read by deputy registrar Taddeo Asiimwe, the justices found evidence that Nabeta falsified election results, in connivance with the electoral commission.

Nabeta's victory was challenged by Mwiru on grounds that he connived with the EC to alter results at Danida A-D polling station which put him (Nabeta) at an advantage in the February 2016 elections.

Nabeta and EC have been ordered to pay costs to Mwiru for both the Court of Appeal and in the High Court.
