Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party member, Catherine Achola Osupelem, has been officially nominated to contest for the Pallisa District Woman Parliamentary Seat.

Achola was this morning nominated by Charles Reben, the district registrar after meeting all the requirements  to contest for the seat.

She was accompanied by FDC Party President, Patrick Oboi Amuriat, and promised to improve on health services and education in Pallisa.

“We want to see services come to the people. One this that is killing us in Pallisa is Hepatitis B and nothing has been done. If I am given an opportunity, I want to see that the health services are improved in pallisa district” Achola said.

The Pallisa district woman MP seat fell vacant after the former Woman MP, Agnes Ameede, shifted to the newly-created Butebo district in the same position.

Achola faces tough competition from the ruling NRM flag bearer Faith Alupo who won the party primaries.
