Ever since she was crowned Miss World Africa, Quiin Abenakyo has been in the limelight and gone on to become one of the biggest icons and influential people in Uganda.

Because of her achievement, a number of public figures have taken every possible opportunity to get close to the 22 year old beauty queen and maybe have a share of her cupcake.

The latest of these public figures is Kigulu South MP Andrew Kaluya, who openly asked the speaker of Parliament to get Quiin Abenakyo's contact on his behalf on the floor of Parliament.

"Right Honourable Speaker, on behalf of most of the male MPs in this House who are underprivileged, they have suggested that they get a little bit familiar with her projects so that they can help the girl child. They [male MPs] have requested that through you [Madam Speaker] let Quiin Abenakyo give us her [phone] number so that we can help the girl child in our different constituencies. Quiin Abenakyo is not only beautiful, but also very brilliant. She has very strong values especially when it comes to the girl child. It is through her that we can achieve milestones, we need to support her and the Miss Uganda foundation," he said as MPs burst into laughter.

On the same day, Busiro East MP Medard Ssegonna also offered free legal advice to all projects that Quiin Abenakyo is working on.

Well, we are not so certain of these MPs' intentions but we shall keep you posted.
