Fashion guru Sylvia Awori left NTV’s fashion and style show in 2017 after a two year stint as a host.
Owori used the platform to critique celebrities on their fashion and style choices before she quit over internal disagreement with management.
Sheilah Gashumba, who also presented the same show alongside Bettina Tiana revealed recently that Sylvia Owori was fired over poor content she relayed on TV.
In a recorded video on YouTube, Sheilah Gashumba said Owori tried to chase her from the show but the managers loved her.
Owori's work didn't impress the managers and they immediately asked her to leave the show after they failed to reach an agreement on the future of the show.
"When Sylvia Owori was hosting the show, she thought I was very young to work with her, however, management refused to take me off the show. She was sacked because her content couldn't beat mine," Sheilah said.
Sheila Gashumba also resigned from hosting the show early this year and it is fully hosted by model Bettina Tiana.
