Mariam Kemigisha alias Lady Mariam of Tindatiine fame recently dominated headlines after reports claimed that she was broke.
Her sister only identified as Swabrah also dragged her to court over Ugx 7M debt but the matter was later settled out of court.
Other reports suggesting that she failed to clear her rent arrears also surfaced on social media.
She however dismissed the rumors during a recent interview confirming she is financially stable.
"What do they want? Do they want to hold a car wash fundraiser for me? Have I ever knocked at anyone’s door asking for help?
Have I ever called you and told you I’m lacking food? Stop talking trash about me!" she said.
Lady Mariam is currently operating a small bar in Kireka, a Kampala suburb.
