Musician Ibrahim Mayanja, also known as Big Eye, is a loyal member of the National Unity Platform and an aspiring Member of Parliament for Nansana Municipality.
Big Eye now says he is truly committed to opposition politics and will support Bobi Wine until he assumes the leadership of this country.
The singer explained that he has great hope in Bobi Wine, believing he has good plans for the country and much love for Uganda.
"We will always support the NUP President, Robert Kyagulanyi, until he takes the presidency. We have hope in him. He is going to change this country. He loves this country. It is not pretense," Big Eye explained in an interview with a local television station.
Big Eye previously worked with the ruling government. While there, he faced many challenges, including being pelted with bottles during performances at events around the city.
He, however, crossed to the National Unity Platform in November 2023 and says his life changed forever.
