Musician Laika Music is one of the promising upcoming artists in the country at the moment.
She is someone who has collaborated with different artists before, including Fik Fameica and Vinka. She is also looking for more collaborations going forward.
The singer has, however, opened up, revealing she has never paid for a collaboration and does not intend to do so.
The singer explained that paying for a collaboration means you don't deserve it. She says a collaboration should arise as a result of the relationship you have with the artist you are working with.
She also says it's something that shouldn't be forced.
"It has to be a vibe. If you have to pay for a collaboration, then you do not deserve it; it's something you shouldn't force," she explained in an interview with a local television station.
The singer also says she is considering working with artists based in different regions of Uganda.
