The ongoing rivalry between musicians Eddy Kenzo (Edirisa Musuza) and Bebe Cool (Moses Ssali) has reportedly escalated as both artists continue to compete for influence and visibility before President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
For several months, tension has been simmering between the two camps, with each claiming to have a stronger relationship and higher recognition from the Head of State. Sources indicate that the competition for dominance within State House circles has grown more aggressive, triggering a wave of accusations and counter-moves.
According to media personality Kasuku, Eddy Kenzo allegedly mobilized a group of rowdy youths with the intention of pelting Bebe Cool with stones during the President’s rallies in Western Uganda. The motive, he claims, was to portray Bebe Cool as unpopular before the public and the President.
The report further alleges that Bebe Cool became aware of the intended disruption in advance and deliberately stayed away from the rally in Kisoro District, avoiding a possible confrontation.
Kasuku asserts that this incident has intensified the rivalry, creating anxiety within various music and political circles. He adds that the two musicians are now completely estranged and can no longer face each other directly.
The battle for supremacy, influence, and visibility at State House appears far from over, as both Kenzo’s Big Talent camp and Bebe Cool’s Gagamel camp continue to strategize.
