Outspoken gospel preacher, music critic, and entertainment journalist Apostle Jonathan Nalebo has ignited fresh debate after making a bold statement about Alien Skin’s rise to fame — and the name at the center of it all is Bobi Wine.

Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Nalebo claimed that the “Sitya Danger” hitmaker built his early momentum by closely following Bobi Wine’s style, message, and street appeal.

According to Nalebo, Alien Skin drew heavy inspiration from Bobi Wine’s character — especially his connection with the ghetto youth — which helped him win massive support from young fans.

“Alien Skin wouldn’t have made his breakthrough without Bobi Wine. He was a big follower of Bobi Wine and picked from his character. He only changed because of money from NRM,” Nalebo alleged.

Nalebo went even further, arguing that Bobi Wine’s influence is on another level altogether — one that will outlive many of today’s biggest stars.

He added that unlike artists such as Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine’s political career has expanded his influence across Africa and the world, ensuring his legacy will remain long after his lifetime.
