Singer Baby Gloria has come out to strongly dismiss rumours alleging a romantic relationship between her sister and her husband, Jonas Mbaleka.
For weeks, social media reports have claimed that Gloria’s younger sister, Jolly Mirembe Ssenyonjo, was romantically involved with Mbaleka. However, the singer has described the allegations as completely false and malicious.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Baby Gloria said she was shocked by the claims and stressed that her sister is still very young and not involved in any romantic relationships.
“It’s impossible. I was surprised by these rumours because they are false and untrue. My sister is still a young girl who is not engaging in any romantic or sexual relationships,” Gloria said.
She added that the false claims are meant to damage her family’s reputation, noting that her marriage remains strong and peaceful.
“My husband and I are in good terms. We are very okay, and I don’t understand the intentions of people spreading such false accusations,” she added.
Baby Gloria and Jonas Mbaleka met in 2017, began dating in 2020, got engaged, and later tied the knot in 2025. The couple says they are happily married and focused on building their family.
