Kampala events promoter Nobart has come out strongly to respond to claims by fellow promoter Abitex, who recently alleged that he is mentally unstable and in need of rehabilitation.

Nobart, who has faced serious financial challenges after investing heavily in Kampala artistes over the past few years, is currently engaged in a public war of words with Abitex.

The feud escalated after Nobart petitioned government, accusing Abitex of fraud and misuse of funds, following reports that billions of shillings were received from government on behalf of promoters.

Nobart claims the money was mismanaged and shared among a few individuals, leaving many promoters struggling and empty-handed.

In response, Abitex dismissed Nobart’s accusations, claiming he is crazy, depressed and needs to be taken to a rehabilitation centre for treatment.

However, Nobart has strongly denied the claims, insisting that he is not mentally ill, but simply facing financial hardships.

“I am not crazy as Abitex claims. A so-called crazy person doesn’t look like me. Apparently, if you don’t have money, you’re labeled crazy,” Nobart said.

The ongoing feud between the two promoters has continued to draw massive attention online, with many industry players calling for government to fully investigate the alleged misuse of promoters’ funds.
