Supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) have expressed frustration with Mukono South MP-elect Robert Maseruka over his association with musician Eddy Kenzo.

The backlash follows a video circulating on social media showing Maseruka socializing, laughing, and playing football with Kenzo and other figures, including NRM official Moses Magogo.

Some NUP supporters have criticized the move, arguing that Kenzo has previously had disagreements with party leader Bobi Wine.

They are now calling on the party leadership to summon Maseruka for explanation or consider disciplinary action.

The incident has sparked debate within the party’s support base, with some questioning party loyalty and others calling for tolerance and dialogue.

Maseruka is among the youthful MPs-elect aligned with the National Unity Platform.
